How to Change Proxy Servers in Google chrome


If you use your Laptop internet access in different places, including corporate networks; you need to set up a proxy server for security purpose to other network connections.  Let’s find out how to change proxy servers in Google Chrome.





Change a Proxy Server in Google Chrome

Step 1:-  Open Google Chrome 

 

Step 2:- Open “Customize and control Google Chrome”. Then click “Setting”   

 

Step 3:- Under the setting tab find and click on “Show advanced setting”

 

Step 4:-   Find Network section and click on “Change proxy setting button”

 

Step 5:-  Now, you will appear internet Properties window. Then, click LAN Setting  

 

Step 6:-  If you want to set a proxy server with a URL, then check "Automatic configuration script" box.  Then, type your URL in the Address field.         


If you want change a proxy server with IP address, so check “Use a proxy server for your LAN" box and type your IP address in the address field.  

 


Last click OK to save your new setting.
